GENERAL QUESTIONS:

Q:  My power light is green but I have no picture.
A:
This is usally your inverter board. It supplies high voltage to your  CCFL Lamps, which provide backlight
for your LCD. On some LCD monitors your inverter and power supply are combined together. Sometimes
you can have a bad or broken lamp which can also cause this symptom.

Q: I turn my monitor on the picture flashes on for a second then goes black.

Q: I have no power or lights on front panel.
A:
You can have multiple causes. Your power supply is bad, or your logic board is bad. You must first
determine if your power supply has output voltage, usally 5v for your logic board and 12v for your Inverter
board.  If you have these or similar voltages then your logic board is bad. Your logic board is like a small
computer programmed with all the functions of your LCD. If your eeprom or processor is bad the unit will
not turn on even if you have power.

Q: I have power but no response from my controls and my inverter is working.
A:
This is usally your logic board. You need to test and see if your backlight is on. You can do this by
rubbing you finger across screen and applying light pressure. If you see a light behind your finger as you
rub your backlight is working, and your logic board is bad.

Q: My screen is white!
A:
You can have multiple causes. Your actual LCD panel has a problem on the tab board (this is a circuit
board attached to the screen which generates the image). A bad Logic Board can also cause this problem.

Q: I have a line running horizontal or a black strip down my screen.
A:
This is probably caused by the tab board to glass weld has developed a bad connection to that pixel
section.
